These words remained in the impression for me. Because of I think these words are "key words" for this story. I think that the shade of meaning is different though it is the same word.
"I'm lucky too. It's like winning the lottery!"
I think that this word does a unique role. And, I thought Rick became happy oppositely by having lost the memory.
